Snooki: Passing Out in a Garbage Can ‘Sucks’

No one would accuse Jersey Shore party girl Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of setting a good example for young fans, and she makes no apologies for that.

When quizzed on Wednesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show about her penchant for boozing the night away until she blacks out, Snooki said she had no plans to stop.

“Now, when you say if you didn’t black out it’s a good night for you, are you serious?” DeGeneres asks the reality star.

Snooki replies, “Yes, because I want to remember my night and sometimes I just don’t. It sucks. So you’re like, ‘What did I do? Why did I wake up in a garbage can?’ ”

DeGeneres laughs and asks how often the reality star finds herself in that position, to which Snooki says, “Oh, like once a month.”

Later in the interview, DeGeneres points out that “the blacking out thing isn’t a good example” for teen fans, and Snooki shoots back: “Well, I don’t want to be a role model.”

But she isn’t entirely unaware of her impact. Snooki is currently promoting her new novel, A Shore Thing, and explained that she “toned it down because I know I have a lot of young fans who are like 13, so I took a lot of swear words out. I don’t want to get them grounded or anything.”
